"After filing a claim for property damage due to Hurricane Helene the process was not progressing. I was unable to get into contact with the adjuster assigned to the claim and for several weeks the website indicated "in process". I contacted my local State Farm office for assistance and Ms Amy Owen got involved. There were still a few glitches along the way but Ms. Owen's assistance was invaluable, the issues were resolved and now the repair process can proceed. Without Ms.Owen working on my behalf I would probably still have a claim "in process". In my view she went above and beyond to assist me in the claim process and for that I am grateful. She provided excellent customer service exceeding my expectations. Great job!"

"We’ve been State Farm customers for. 36 years. Tabatha Hamlin is by far the most attentive agent we’ve had. She has spent a lot of time helping us. Several times when I’ve left messages, she calls us back not one of her staff. If you want great insurance and an incredibly professional and attentive agent, come and see Tabatha. UPDATE: Post Hurricane Helene, Tabatha personally has been a good support. As an insurance agent, her hands have been tied by unreasonable flood insurance acquisition laws in NC and the total lack of wind to water damage coverage. We have spent over $200,000 in insurance premiums to State Farm over decades. So far, we have received $1,500 from State Farm. Again, the national home insurance associations and the states themselves really need to look at adendummed additions onto home insurance for wind to water damage when certain levels of rainfall within certain levels of storms over a certain period of time occurs. Also, NC needs to look at their flood insurance acquisition guidelines. All of this being said, we are in the final step to ascertain as to whether we will get any benefit for our roof damage from the hail storm in May 2024. If not, we may be switching insurance companies for the first time in over 40 years. UPDATE: I preface with, I am NOT making this up. The newest SF adjuster came to our home with our roofer present. The roofer again showed this adjuster the hail damage on our roof. To make a 10 month story short, the adjuster encircled our roof, deck and home and concluded in his report (I quote), “There is hail damage on your picnic table, window sills but NOT on the roof”. How exactly does this happen? Not only is the adjuster claiming to know more about damaged roofs than our roofer, a top 3 roofer in the tri state area, the adjuster is also rewriting the very laws of physics. He is a “genius”. Tired of State Farm. Moving on. UPDATE: I am thrilled that because State Farm has my $200,000+ in premiums and has nary provided benefits for my family’s needs, they can pay Jason Bateman and Batman for their current series of commercials. It warms my heart every time it comes on the TV."

"Our home was damaged by a windblown tree during Helene. We are now on our third adjuster and State Farm claims that they have no photos from any of the adjusters. They have lowballed the claim by 50% and not allowed us to start work on our home effectively holding us hostage. We have been forced to hire an attorney and will work diligently publish a news story. Shame on you."

"I had Tabitha as an agent for almost 2 years but never spoke to her. I encountered many miscommunications and confusion with her staff but Tabitha never contacted me to try to assist. When I moved back to Indiana she never informed me about the NC requirements of turning in my license plate before canceling my NC insurance however the company did report my failure to do so to the NC DMV. I never had a lapse in my insurance, in fact I had insurance in both states at the same time but I did fail to follow the proper regulations for NC. I received a letter from NC DMV saying I face a Civil Penalty. I highly recommend going to someone else for insurance. I’ve had State Farm for almost 50 years and they have always gone above and beyond but Tabitha Hamlin’s State Farm just didn’t seem to care."

"Deb I really appreciate your business while you were in NC. I unfortunately can’t control the NC tag office. Corporate has to report insurance information directly to the state. We have no means or ability to impose or enforce any regulations. This is a matter that has nothing to do with our office and everything to do with you and the state of NC. Had you asked any of us in the office about NC regulations we would have gladly directed you to contact the tag office or to go to the NCDOT website. I appreciate you again. "

"Wow! I emailed to reduce my coverage on the car because of the rent here among other things ) : Amy the agent was right on it and called me. I didn't even realize the full benefit of what I had. She explained each thing specifically and together we then decided only to drop collision. The way the weather has been with trees falling etc...this will be in my best interest. She also inquired about my losses during the storm and I found out my renters insurance would cover some food $ loss when power went out!! So if you're needing an agent that's available, knowledgeable and just down right remarkable ask for Amy at Tabatha Hamlin's State Farm office in Fletcher. She's in office until 5 today giver her a call!!"

"This firm is absolutely incompetent. I was sent a refund check that was only a fraction of what it should be and no one in this office can explain why I got shorted. I have been dealing with this for over a month only for them to give me an 800 number to call and that representative referred me back to this office."
